This stove is suitable for freestanding just 10cm forward of internal combustible walls without further need for heatshielding - but is equally suited to fitting in larger fireplace openings.   Ekol Edge 5kw Wood Burning Stove This is one of the newer additions to our showroom! This particular one was recently fitted for a customer who wanted a stove across a corner, but was not overly keen on a rounded shape. One problem which often arises with square stoves is that the side clearances to combustibles mean the stove sticks out quite a bit.  Due to the  remarkably low clearance distance required to combustibles at both the back (50mm) and sides (100mm) we were able to tuck it back on a cut corner hearth (supplied by Natural Heating). There is currently no log store option for this model as it has just been released on the market, however for this job we used a log store for a different manufacturer which fit perfectly!
