  Termatech TT20 Streamline R (5kw) This free standing stove offers a modern contemporary look and value for money without sacrificing on quality or performance.  The large portrait-style glass gives a spectacular view of the fire - we often fit these on circular hearths to compliment the oval shape of this unit. This model is one of our firm favourites for fitting across a corner near a combustible wall. These can be fitted 100mm from the rear to combustible walling and tucks right in to maximise on room space. As standard, the Termatech stoves are fitted with an Auto Door Close function - if preferred, this feature can be removed, you can view our video on how to do this here .  This model runs well on a short (3.5m) flue system, which is ideal for bungalows and convervatories.   Ekol Edge 5kw Wood Burning Stove This is one of the newer additions to our showroom! This particular one was recently fitted for a customer who wanted a stove across a corner, but was not overly keen on a rounded shape. One problem which often arises with square stoves is that the side clearances to combustibles mean the stove sticks out quite a bit.  Due to the  remarkably low clearance distance required to combustibles at both the back (50mm) and sides (100mm) we were able to tuck it back on a cut corner hearth (supplied by Natural Heating). There is currently no log store option for this model as it has just been released on the market, however for this job we used a log store for a different manufacturer which fit perfectly! Before After Dik Geurts Soren - 5kw wood burning stove (3 > 7kw heat output to the room). Dik Geurts stoves are manufactured in the Netherlands and although small and compact have a very large and spacious firebox for the size and a seriously punchy heat output. The air controls are super reactive and smooth with minimal resistance that is hard to beat. Multi fuel grate is available as an optional extra These finished photos were kindly sent in by our customer, Toni who purchased this stove last year. The finished results are stunning. By cleverly dressing a VERY small fireplace opening, with a beautiful surround and slips, Toni has managed to create a beautiful balance which could all too easily have created a "squashed in" look Attached, you can see finished photos before and after the surround was fitted.   Charlton & Jenrick FPi8 inset stove with 4 sided trim - 8kw multi fuel stove (heat output range of 5.5 > 11kw to the room) With this one, customer came to me with a mid size open fire place, which had a slate slip backing and stone surround. The fireplace opening was technically too large for the size of the internal flue diameter - so the option really was to fit a stove.  However, fireplaces in houses built mid 1960's onwards typically don't open out very big and it would be especially difficult to try and remove the surround without damage (to be refitted) as required. The customer had a large room and needed a larger output stove - yet the actual opening was only capeable of taking a small sized 5kw at best. What to do? I came up with the idea of laying a concrete pad within the opening and having a custom cut insert plate made to cover over the slate slips and sprayed black to match the stove - that way, we could leave everything exactly as it was but make the fr...
