Compared to other stoves on the market, these beauties have a massive lift up cooking top, internal cooking grill (so you can cook directly over wood in the firebox) and an impressively large lower oven which can easily fit a large turkey!   Charlton & Jenrick FPi8 inset stove with 4 sided trim - 8kw multi fuel stove (heat output range of 5.5 > 11kw to the room) With this one, customer came to me with a mid size open fire place, which had a slate slip backing and stone surround. The fireplace opening was technically too large for the size of the internal flue diameter - so the option really was to fit a stove.  However, fireplaces in houses built mid 1960's onwards typically don't open out very big and it would be especially difficult to try and remove the surround without damage (to be refitted) as required. The customer had a large room and needed a larger output stove - yet the actual opening was only capeable of taking a small sized 5kw at best. What to do? I came up with the idea of laying a concrete pad within the opening and having a custom cut insert plate made to cover over the slate slips and sprayed black to match the stove - that way, we could leave everything exactly as it was but make the fr...

Charlton & Jenrick PureVision PVR Flat Backed Cylinder Multi Fuel Stove This stunning, grey stove was recently purchased from us at  Natural Heating  by a customer in Wymondham / Norfolk (East Anglia) Kerry is most certainly a woman with vision and this stove looks utterly fantastic in her fireplace ! The PVR flat backed cylinder stove is flat backed and can be hung on a wall (combustible or non combustible).. It is DEFRA approved for use in smokeless zones, Eco Design 2022 ready. One of the new generation cleaner burning stoves with really low carbon emissions. This fireplace was shallow, so rather than needing a gap behind the stove - we could fit this one tight and abutting the back wall of the opening. The stove still has a totally cylindrical front with 180deg vision. First one of these I've seen installed in a fireplace opening - but isn't it stunning ? The Charlton & Jenrick Fireline FGi5 is a lovely small inset wood burning and multi fuel stove that will fit in 400mm wide standard fireplace openings. Ideal when you want that living flame with the modern look, clean glass and high efficiency of a stove - but with minimum disruption to your living room and without a load of building work. All the Charlton & Jenrick stoves meet all the new and forthcoming Eco 2022 Clean Air Act requirements and are SIA and DEFRA approved. Open fires are only around 25% efficient, whereas the Fireline Fgi5 inset fire is 80.3% efficient with a nominal of 5kw heat output to the room (meaning no air vent requirement in houses built before 2008) Chic and modern with it's double glass door, this inset stove can be fitted with either a 3 sided trim frame (as in this case) or a 4 sided trim frame. Here's a slightly unusual one - but it's it pretty ? Charlton & Jenrick PureVision 5W in metallic grey, fitted almost literally into a hole in the wall on a 75mm stand. This fireplace opening was raised way up in the air. Could have fitted an inset fire - but the customer wanted to keep the lovely arch... This may be fitted in an old cottage in Norfolk - but it really suits the modern twist with this modern and contemporary stove The PureVision 5w wood burning and multi fuel stove was a super size to look well balanced within the space and offer a stunning view. The glass keeps very clean and these units have awesome control.
